My name is Caitlin Trafton. I summered on Swans Island almost all of my life. Ten years ago I graduated from Greely High School, moved to Swans Island and never left Hancock County. Hancock County, next to Washington County, is one of the highest seafood producing counties in Maine. Wild caught Scallops, Shrimp, Lobster, Clams, Mussel and Urchin are harvested out of these cool waters.

It is my goal to see that all Seafood Harvesters in Hancock County are recognized and supported for their commitment to life at sea. I intend this website to be a virtual ‘dealer’ that links independent fisheries directly to Seafood Consumers, so that both parties are reaping vital benefits from the Gulf of Maine.
